I've decided to give my blog a complete makeover. The new year is less than 2 weeks away & I want to start fresh. I have tons of new ideas & products to showcase here. I've been brainstorming of a new layout (& color scheme), creating new pages to add, & coming up with new features to post weekly/monthly. Overall, veeboutique should be NEW & improved in 2011.
My first plan of action? Build a 2011 vision board. I purchased two cork boards & adhered it to the wall next to the new bookcase. It's for both the blog & shop. I divided each board into sections that I want to focus on, like custom cards & items for the esty shop just to name a few.
I just started working on it so until I'm finished I won't go into detail on how I organized it. But it's coming along just as I envisioned it. I'm hoping by the new year, I'll have it filled up with all my inspiration & ideas.
I do want to show you one thing I put up on the vision board. It's a metal plate that's engraved with the saying, "wish it. dream it. do it." I purchased it back in 2006 during Valentine's Day. It was supposed to be a gift for my ex-bf but for some reason, I never gave it to him. Instead, I kept it for myself & now I'm glad I did. I look at it everytime I'm feeling down or when I'm confused at where life's taking me. It's a good reminder of letting me know how far I've come & what dreams I still need to conquer.
