can the real spring show up?

I've gotten to the point where I can finally say.. I miss blogging!
It felt like a big chore before.. especially on the days when I wasn't prepared.
But I want to get back into it & just have fun now!
That's how I started it.. that's how I'd like to continue with it.

I do have an announcement though.
I am having a major blog makeover.
When will it be up?
I'm hoping sometime in April, middle of it..
Or possibly beginning of May, depending on how much HTML I understand.
Once I get closer to making the big changes, I'll post up another reminder.

Until then, I'll continue to post here.
I got some features/ideas I'd like to put up.
Get my blogging skills back in order.. or something.

Also I'm a week late but HAPPY SPRING everyone!
Although in my defense this past week has been more winter-ish than spring.
I even have pictures of snow to prove it.

In the spirit of spring, I decided to give myself a manicure.
The color is called 'Re-Fresh Mint' by China Glaze.
I would show a photo of my nails..
If they weren't so short, brittle, & bitten.
Maybe next time `=]

But I did put up a photo of a tiny card/tag I made.

For two weeks, I've listened to Adele's latest album, '21' nonstop. Her voice is absolutely incredible & I can go on & on how amazing this album is - just listen to it once & you'll understand what I mean. I love every one of her songs but this particular one, "Someone Like You" is so emotional & raw. You can see her tearing up at the end of this video. Sigh if only I could sing like that..

what i've been up to lately?

+ class
So I've had a quiz and/or exam practically every single time I went to class for the last 4 weeks! Fortunately, I've been kicking butt & getting A's. I started my spring break last friday so I'm excited to relax, even though my professors decided to give me homework & a quiz/exam the week I go back but that's life for ya.

+ office
I haven't stepped inside the office for over 3 weeks because of how messy it was. One of my big plastic drawers broke apart & was tilting, ready to collapse at any moment. I was not ready to clean up that mess. Luckily I got into it last week & now I can actually sit at my desk & do work. It's the greatest feeling in the world. I'm getting my creative mojo back `=D

+ 30 days of lists
I love making to-do lists so when I found this blog, I wanted to participate immediately. It takes place for the whole month of March & it's such an easy going challenge for me. I've already found my notebook & started adding my lists. I need to take photos & blog about it some more later.

+ exercise & eating right
The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm trying to lose weight before the summer so I have about 100 days to do that. The hardest part for me was to cut caffeine out of my life but I'm almost 3 weeks caffeine-free & that is a huge accomplishment for a caffeine fiend like me. Now I just need to make working out a daily thing.

+ support from all places
I think I've mentioned before I'm not in a 'oh-so-happy' place right now. But it's great to know that I have support from family & friends. Even though I've been slacking in the paper crafting department, I still get super sweet emails from people who want me to make something fro them. No matter how bad things may get, I need to keep busy & focus on the things that matter the most, like school & work.

+ new website in the near future
I've also been working on a new website. I gave it a lot of though & I rather not spend money monthly on typepad especially if I'm not a frequent blogger as I'd like to be. So it's time to get thinking & start working on a new blog design for the new location. Promise I'll announce it way in advance. Right now I'm just working on the layout so nothing is official quite yet.

+ latest musical obssession..
I've had Adele's '21' album on repeat for about 2 weeks straight. It's hands down one of my favorite albums & her voice is amazing! I love every single track but if I had to pick, 'Someone Like You' & 'Love Song' are my absolute favorites. Every song except for like 2 deals with heartbreak so if you're not into that, I suggest you not get this album.

I've had better days..

You know that saying 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all..'? Well that's my reason behind this 'little' hiatus. Some days I didn't know what to say without being a little negative. Other days, my mind was blank like a new word document. But here's a list of (positive) things I've come up with:

• I'm thinking of switching to blogger for more creative control.. & because it's free.
• I'm ready to use my domain name!
• I started working out REGULARLY & my thighs are in extreme pain..
• I still want a mini DANBO, just can't afford it right now.
• I'm planning a house warming shin-ding this month.
• I have new plans on how to decorate my office.
• I'm in love with pinterest!
• I've been getting all A's so far in class!
• I'm getting my creative spunk back.. `=D
