week in the life: friday

last thursday highlights/memories..

• left over chinese food for breakfast is awesome!
• second fortune cookie = truth
• finishing up custom card order
• got ready & headed over to mom & dad's place for food/water
• ate a bowl of cherries mom had on the counter.. yummy!
• got a 'pat on the back' from dad [his way of saying i love you lol]
• went over to the book trader store
• book trader = i'm in heaven!
• spent a good hour at the store & only purchased 2 books
• still had $6 worth of credit left over on my slip
• leave the store & it pours down hard!
• try to 'rush' to the car but that's after i decide to stay in the rain & take a pic of the sign
• people in their cars must have thought i was absolutely nuts!
• stayed in the rain even longer when i had to take the food & 6 gallons of water out of the trunk & into the house
• chilled the rest of the night with sis & watched tv/movies

week in the life: thursday

last wednesday night wasn't so great... i ended up having a cry-fest all night & barely slept. i forgot to take my eye makeup off & here you can see the damage it's done to my bedsheets. luckily it was laundry day.

i woke up & made myself a veggie omelet. yes I love cheese & milk! i can't get enough of it. but i kinda burnt my omelet a lil but it still tasted delicioso `=]

haha i saw this photo of facebook & had to save it on my iPhone. how hilarious is this?

i spend the afternoon going shopping with sis. we went to the mall & pretty much walked around while she returned stuff. i've always loved the light bulb display over at urban outfitters.

as the cashier was ringing up my sis, i nonchalantly took this photo above. i took a chance & just set my phone down on the counter hoping i got the right shot. check plus!

our final stop was at LUSH, my favorite place to be! every time i'm there, i always have to buy myself a bath bomb but there's so many to choose from! final decision = butter bomb

my skin care routine wasn't giving me any results so I decided to try out the lush care instead. the employee said it would take about a week or two to see results. i saw results the next day really! i can't get enough of it & i'm going back & buying more than the sample size i got soon.

we didn't feel like cooking so we brought chinese food 5 minutes from our place. i haven't had greasy fatty chinese food in soooo long.. it was just what i needed. we ate while watching MTV's true life episodes.

ah you have no idea how appropriate & true this piece of paper from the fortune cookie came out to be!

week in the life: wednesday

Last wednesday turned into another productive day.

i woke up, wrote in my morning pages, & did a page off the sudoku book.

i decided i'm in a cooking mood & made myself a toasted bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich with what has become my favorite breakfast drink.. chocolate milk!

i started working on a custom/personalized card for a customer! it's a hawaiian-theme wedding congratulations card. as you can see above, i'm using a lot of colorful flowers! can't wait to show off the finished product `=D

i decided to go visit one of my good friends from college that day so i got ready. i usually don't like doing 'outfit of the day' photos but figured i'd add it to my 'week in the life' mini-book.

i got myself a new toy! it's jack from 'a nightmare before christmas'. i want to have a photo shoot with jack & danbo real soon `=]

i try so hard to take photos of food but i don't remember about photos until i'm almost done eating! & that's what happened with this delicious vanilla ice cream sandwich. it's been my go-to dessert for a few weeks now.

week in the life: tuesday

i'm back with 'week in the life's photos. last tuesday was just another ordinary day...

i wake up first thing in the morning & get a text. i now have a new name.. hello my name is bernini. nice to meet you all `=]

i decided i wanted something different than my usual bowl of honey nut cheerios. i made myself loaded scrambled eggs but rather than add bacon, i cooked up onions & red/orange peppers. then i topped it off with shredded cheese & complimented it with toast & chocolate milk.

i couldn't decide on a color to wear on my nails so i choose glitter & sparkle clear coat instead. plus i bit off my nails so i needed a little manicure.

i made myself a to-do list board. i need something visual to look at & hopefully this works out. i'm hoping to post a how-to on this board.

LUSH = best baths ever! i added a lit scented candle for extra relaxation `=D

oh god this was the dinner from hell! what didn't go wrong? me & sis were supposed to cook chicken but it had white circular spots on it.. so then we decided pasta. we added too much salt, we didn't have enough ragu sauce, we burnt garlic bread [not the one shown luckily].. in the end, i think it went okay though.. we still had seconds lol

i haven't seen the backstreet boys since the boy band era so watching this vh1 show brought back middle school memories.

my favorite member was brian - such a cutie. can't believe they're still touring & making new albums.. good for them still making those girls scream wild.

hello august!

i still can't believe it's already august 1st. why is time flying by so darn fast?!? only a month left until my 27th birthday & i'm still debating whether that's a good or bad thing. i was supposed to update every day with my 'week in the life' photos but i lost track of time blogging. but if you follow me on twitter or instagram [username: veebhu] then you KNOW i've been actually keeping up with it.

to be honest, i enjoyed being camera happy for once. i even took self portraits/ootd type photos too! kinda sad it's done but glad i've gotten back to being the annoying tourist who takes photos wherever i go `=D this week i'll start working on the mini-book to accompany this project & update here on the days i missed blogging about the project, which i realized is all except for monday `=T

well i'm going back to reading the novel room by emma donoghue. i'm 1/4th into the book & i must say, i'm loving it! i'm hoping to read it all night until i finish.. i couldn't even put the book down when i was soaking up in my bathtub [i have a tendency to read books while taking relaxing baths.. & i don't think i've ever dropped a book in the water ::knocking on wood::].
