I will be the first to admit that I suck at blogging! I get caught up in real life so much that I always tell myself "You'll blog tomorrow." I've been telling myself that for over a month now & apparently tomorrow doesn't come soon enough!
So big apologies are in order for the lack of updates lately. But let's see what have I been up to?
- Volunteering -
I started volunteering at my local hospital, helping nurses with patients in the one-day surgery recovery rooms. It's been almost two months now & so far I'm absolutely loving it! The staff is super friendly & sweet, makes me feel like I fit right in. I think I may have found my calling.. [fingers crossed I'm back in school for Fall 2012!]
- Sick -
For three weeks I've been sick with an ear infection & a sore throat. It started right around the time I was working day & night for the vendor fair too.. talk about worse timing! But I'm taking antibiotics so I feel much better now. I still feel my throat sore when I wake up but I should be better before the new year.
- Craft Fair -
I attended & participated in my very first craft fair! I don't want to get into details (that's for another future post) but I was an official vendor for a local non-profit organization, which meant I got to set up my little shop on a table & sell my handmade products to all the employees. I was beyond nervous but overall, I'm so happy I did this & I can't wait to share my experiences.
- MCM Giveaway -
I know I planned out a big Holiday 2011 giveaway but unfortunately I never had the time. With being sick & working on the craft fair products, I zoned out & then went on to recovery mode. I will have to come up with something big for next year.
- Goal before 2012 -
Now that I only have less than a week before 2012, I have one major goal in mind: to clean & organize my life. This includes the office, bedroom, bathroom.. pretty much the entire house. I also need to look through the huge stack of papers piled up in the corner of the office & plan out all appts/activities/etc. onto planners & calendars. If I can pull this off, which I haven't been able to do for the past year, I am Superwoman!

I'm off to watch my brother & cousins play Gears of War 3 on the Xbox I got lil bro for Christmas. They've been playing all day & night to get to the conclusion of the game & they're so close!
