I went the healthy route on Friday's breakfast, eating strawberries and leftover veggies. Of course no breakfast would be complete without listening to my girls' messages on Voxer and reading blogs on Google Reader.
My sister decided to make grilled cheese sandwiches for us. We only had three slices of bread left in the fridge so we barely ate a whole sandwich. Luckily we had tomato soup so we added that into the mix and voila, a complete meal to enjoy.
Since my plan was to go party on Saturday, I kept it low-key, which meant sipping on hot green tea and catching up on the latest episodes of Bob's Burgers (surprisingly a hilarious animated show).
Saturday morning consisted of eggs (with shredded cheese), bacon and strawberries. This isn't the healthiest breakfast but after finishing up a gruesome workout, my only goal was to make a quick and simple meal.
I was supposed to head off to Point Pleasant beach for a friend's birthday but for unfortunate reasons, I couldn't go. Instead I hung out with sibs and watched movies (Big Daddy & Talladega Nights) as we ate Boston Market takeout.
I had Boston Market leftovers for breakfast - still tasted delicious as the night before!
Finally I got the chance to clean up the office so that my sister could move in with her stuff. It took me literally all night but I got the job done and it feels so good.
Since I had dinner for breakfast, I decided why not have breakfast for dinner, or brinner as it's called (courtesy of Scrubs). I made Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes and covered it in maple syrup and butter.
A full moon was present on Sunday night. I brought out my DSLR camera to capture it. It looks better here than what my Lumix point and shoot camera could ever take.
I changed the lenses on the camera and zoomed in as close as I could. The moon looked so pretty and magical. I swear I could look at the moon and stars for hours. I seriously need to invest in a telescope and possibly name a star after me (so corny but totally got the idea from A Walk to Remember haha).
TODAY: I worked on a project that will technically lead to all the other projects I've been brainstorming inside my head. I also started reading a new book that has been in my reading list for years now, The Watchmen. I never watched the movie because I wanted to read the graphic novel first. I'm hoping to read a chapter a day so that by next week, I'll be done. I forgot how I kept a goal to read 12 books before my next birthday. Better start at it now!
